Before I found Vedic meditation I was stressed out, burning the candle at both ends
For years I embraced long working hours while rushing around keeping up a busy social life along with juggling parenting, maintaining my relationship and friendships, travel, exercise and more. Most of my ways of coping with stress and overwhelm just made me feel worse in the long run.
I hadn't been sleeping well and everything had been feeling difficult for some time. Even small tasks required super human effort. Feeling overwhelmed and unsupported I had very little real self-care in my schedule. It felt impossible to switch off and relax. Depletion eventually manifested as exhaustion and insomnia. A genuine SOS!
Then I discovered Vedic meditation
As skeptical as I was to try yet another meditation technique, I dragged myself through the door to the first session and from that day I never looked back. As layers of stress melted away so too did unhealthy habits, and my energy levels improved significantly. Meditation was really making a difference. Finally I worked out how to be truly well and happy inside of my busy life.
It's always a thrill to see who is joining a course. Some of the people I have taught include busy parents, CEOs, entrepreneurs, athletes, students and creatives. Seeing people who are how I used to be; stressed, and overwhelmed, make changes in their lives through this simple daily practice is very rewarding. For me it's about sharing simple, practical tools and techniques in a fun and relatable way to support people in making change towards greater wellbeing so they can live their most fulfilling life and make a difference in the world.
