I learned Vedic meditation because I wanted to create space and find relief from the daily push of work, parenting, travel, exercise, friendships and more.
Focusing on eating well and exercising took me so far, but as a parent in the corporate world I remained stuck in the ever repeating cycle of pushing myself to the edge of burn out. Most of my ways of relaxing just left me feel more exhausted and overwhelmed.
I discovered that regular deep rest during meditation allowed me to release the backlog of stress and fatigue I was carrying around. It created space to better see my patterns. I found myself working through uncertainty more gracefully and I had confidence that I could successfully navigate turbulent times without losing myself. I was more present to what was right in front of me, really enjoying family, work and friends.
Through letting go I discovered an opening to more - more connection, more presence, more creativity, more clarity, more stability, more energy, more joy.
Vedic meditation became a very personal and medicinal practice. I knew immediately that it was something important that I needed to share with the world.
Some of the people I have taught include busy parents, CEOs, entrepreneurs, athletes, students and creatives. Supporting to make changes in their lives through this simple daily practice is very rewarding.
